Cocktail Academy (CA) is in search of a dynamic Bar Catering and Event Staff Coordinator to assist the Staffing and Catering Operations departments. As the Coordinator you will assisting in the operations for Los Angeles, Miami and NYC.

The Bar Catering and Event Staff Coordinator will help our team execute some of the most exciting events in the industry. You will be recruiting and networking for top tier Craft Cocktail Bartenders. You will be communicating with some of the most highly sought after bar staff.

Scheduling & Reporting

• Scheduling hourly team members

• Auditing timesheets

• Nowsta (staff scheduling app) roster maintenance

• Report employee hours and event labor costs

• Staff certification compliance
  

Communication

• Department managers

• Event paperwork

• Tracking behavioral and attendance issues

• Day-of staffing contact

Support & Recruiting

• Monthly and quarterly staff recruitment goals

• Actively engage with new staff and staffing agencies

• Participates in trainings

• Assist onsite when necessary

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality who gets energized by people

• Passionate about cocktails - bartending experience a huge plus

• 4+ years of Event/Catering experience

• Catering/Event staffing experience a plus

• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proficient with Microsoft Office & Excel as well as web based applications

• Exceptional client relations

• Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced work environment and ability to work under tight deadlines

• Willingness to work extended hours and on weekends when necessary

• Professional attire and demeanor
